Woodie Bob Martin died at the age of 97 on June 4, 2014.Woodie was born Dec. 12, 1916 at Hillsboro, Texas to Champ C. and Ruby L. (Bradley) Martin.He served in the US Army during WWII and Korean Conflict, retiring after 30 years of serviceas a Major/Artillery. He married Winifred Martin in Reno, Nevada.Woodie is survived by his daughter in-law Susie Martin of Tigard , 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Woodie was preceded in death by his wife Winifred and son Gene Martin.Private Interment at Willamette National Cemetery- PortlandArrangements by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel-Woodburn
