Obituary
Winona Goldy Russell died at the age of 80 on July 29, 2013.Winona was born Feb. 21, 1933 in Canby, Oregon to Benoni and Goldy ( Christiansen) Arms. She graduated from Canby High School in 1951.She married Wayne W. Russell in Canby , Oregon on Nov. 6, 1954.They lived and raised their family on their Aurora Farm.Winona enjoyed gardening and spending time with the family.Winona is survived by her husband Wayne of 58 years, sisters Mildred Affolter , Edith Conley, daughter and son-in-law Diane and Paul Staehely, son Loy Russell and Kim Winslow, son and daughter-in-law Ken and Patti Russell, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her mother Goldy Arms.Funeral service was held Tuesday- August 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn. Interment service to follow at Zion Memorial Cemetery- Canby.Memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Hospice of Oregon or Countryside Living- Canby. Arrangements by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn
