Obituary
Wilma Sytsma - Passed with peace and grace on February 4th, 2015 with her family at her side. Predeceased by her loving husband Garrett in 2003, and survived by her sons Burt Sytsma of Vancouver, WA; Gary Sytsma of Burbank, WA. She was predeceased by her loving daughter Jeannette Huber in 2011. Grandchildren: Cindy, Rebekah, Benjamin, Danielle, Edward, Khloe, Cole, Taylor, Dana & Alicia. Great grandchildren: Shelby, Alex, Eric, Carter & Paisley.
Wilma was born in Stedum, Holland and moved to Belflower, CA as a young woman. After marrying Garrett, she threw her energies into raising their children on the family farm. Open to all neighboring children, her kitchen was never closed. All who knew her, weather briefly or for many years, remember her as a dear, sweet, kind and energetic woman. She retired from Walmart in October 2014. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother (Oma, Grand-Ma-Ma) and great grandmother whose greatest passion was helping others.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Ismail and Ronda (RN) and all the nurses for their care.
She leaves us rich in memories.
