Velma Maxine Yoder died at the age of 90 on Dec. 23, 2013.Velma was born Dec. 29, 1922 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to George and Hattie Wimer. Velma was the 9th of 10 children. All 6 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death.Velma came to Oregon, settling in the Woodburn-Canby area in 1941. She married LorinYoder in Vancouver Oct. 10, 1942. She enjoyed knitting, needlework and sewing. Velma was a member of Hoodview Church of God.Velma is survived by her 4 sons: Larry of Canby, James of Canby, Boyd of Vale, Clifford of Canby and 9 grandchildren.Visitation Fri.
