Veda Joan McAllister died at the age of 80 on Jan. 12, 2014.Veda was born Mar. 6, 1933 at Rock Springs, Wyoming toVirgil Joel & Minnie (Melvina) Jackson.She was a graduate of Ontario High School in Ontario,OR. She received her Bachelor of Art degree in music education and Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene . Veda was a member of Mid-Valley Community Church, Woodburn Golf Club,Woodburn Rotary, PEO, and Eastern Star.Veda is survived by her daughter Vickie Bonar of Keizer, son Joel McAllister of Seattle, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.She will be remembered for her love of music, culinary creations and her passion for travel.Memorial service will be held Mon.
