Thelma May Briggs born April 12,1932 in Palisade Nebraska, a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother and a wife. Thelma moved to Colorado as a child, and later met her husband George. They were married in May of 1961.

She cared about her family, friends, and neighbors, often inviting them to share a home cooked treat. Thelma liked to bake, garden and sew.

Thelma joined those who preceded her in death on Nov 21,2024. She has been reunited with her parents Herbert E McCormick and Greta L McCormick (Barger), her twin sister Velma S Florea (Virgil), sister Geroldine L Leonard (Lyle), her son Jerald F Roe (Sherry), and her loving husband George W Briggs.


She will be missed by those she leaves behind, her brother Dale L McCormick (Judy), her eldest daughter Joanne M Napp (Mark), son Dennis G Briggs (Jeanie), daughter Denise L Crosier (Bert), son Donald L Briggs. Thelma will be mourned by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Thelma will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd Portland OR 97086
