Susan Mary Latocki Dryden

It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Mary Latocki Dryden announce her passing on September 25, 2016 at the age of 61 years.
She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on October 18, 1954 to Phyllis and Raymond Latocki. She grew up in Oceanside, California in a military family, and she spent the last 40 years in the local North Marion County community.
Susan will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years David, and their children Nathan (Sabrina), Raelene (Scott), Justin (Anna), Megan, Tawni Rae (Ryan), Emily Larae (Matt), Alex (Mason), Michael, Mickaela Rae, Ralph, and Madison Rae. She will also be fondly remembered by 7 grandchildren; Jacob, Kyle, Felicity, Ruby, Emmett, Finnick, and Sterling, who will all miss their Grammy greatly. Susan is also survived by her mother Phyllis; sisters, Karen Nay, Janet King and Cindy Connor; brothers, Larry Latocki, Scott Latocki and Raymond Latocki. Susan will also be remembered by her vast extended family as well as her community that she dedicated her life to helping. She volunteered with numerous charities including American Legion backpack buddies, Build-a-Bear for Doernbecher Children's Hospital, gathering supplies for the Veterans Affairs Hospital, helping feed and clothe the needy in our community, in addition to fostering over 100 children over the span of 28 years. She regrets not being able to adopt all of them.
A Celebration of Susan's life will be held on Oct 9, 2016 at 10:00am at the American Legion hall located at 21510 Main Street NE, Aurora Oregon, 97002. Memorial donations in memory of Susan may be made to OHSU Knight Cancer Research Center.
