Shirley Ann Equall
Longtime Woodburn resident Shirley Ann Equall passed away Wednesday, May 17th, at the age of eighty eight.
She was born to Joseph and Anna Walker, hop farmers, in Mt. Angel Oregon on January 1, 1929.
She was the second to the youngest of eight children. Shirley graduated from Mt. Angel Academy in 1947 and moved to Woodburn when she married the love of her life Donald Equall in 1949.
She was preceded in death by Donald in 2008 and is survived by her four children, Beverly Landfair (Michael), Carol Brandis (Craig), Jae Equall and Paul Equall (Nathalie) She also leaves eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Shirley has lived at Miramont Pointe in Clackamas Oregon for the last nine years suffering with Alzheimer's.
Shirley was a lifelong homemaker and was devoted to her family, her home and her friends. She was a member of the St. Luke's Choir, PEO Chapter J, and the Catholic Daughters. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Church, Woodburn Oregon on Thursday, May 25th at 11:00 AM.
