Sharon Elaine Kennedy died at the age of 66 on April 25, 2012 at her Hubbard residence.Sharon was born August 3, 1945 at Hubbard, Oregon to Jesse and Arla (Rivenes) Owre. She was raised in Hubbard, attending Broadacres Grade School.She graduated from North Marion High School in 1963, on to Pacific Lutheran College for 1 year.She married Jack Kennedy at Vancouver, WA April 30, 1964.She had many passions in her life time such as music, good times with family , friends and trips to the frozen yogart and pet shops with grandchildren . Sharon enjoyed quilting as well. She belonged to the Worship Team at Immanuel Lutheran Church, playing the keyboard and sang. She also belonged to the Bible Study Group.She is survived by her daughter Sara (John) Nelson of Turner, daughter-in-law Shellie Casey of Canby, step mother Lynn Owre of Hubbard.4 grandchildren ; Dylan and Ashley Nelson, Lainey and Paige KennedyShe was preceded in death by her husband Jack and son Sean in 2010, brother Dennis in 1994, father Jesse Owre in 2005. Visitation Monday- April 30, 2012-from 1-6 PM at Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.Funeral service Tuesday- May 1, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Woodburn.
