Sandra Lea Susee, age 51, passed away on August 10, 2015 at her home in the loving arms of her husband of Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy.
Sandra was born in Medford, Oregon to parents Eugene and Mary Putman. Sandra was better known to family and friends as Sandy, she graduated from North Marion High School in 1982 and received her Associates Degree at Clackamas Community College in 1984. Sandra had worked the last 18 years as an Executive Assistant at Pure Seed Testing in Canby, Oregon. Sandra was a very detailed, devoted and loyal worker. Her work ethics were impeccable. When her health forced her to work from home, she would not take a text or phone call on company hours that did not pertain to business. Sandra cherished friendships made, and was most grateful for the support she received.
Sandra was a smart and determined person who would not let her illness define her life, she lived life on her terms. That meant getting up early, keeping a clean house, home cooked meals and only relying on assistance when no other option was available. Even then, with a humble heart, and tender spirit, she would face the day with purpose and was most gracious for help from family and friends.
Finding joy in what she could participate in, Sandra enjoyed reading, camping with family, traveling and watching her nieces and nephews play sports. Sandra found strength and courage to face each day with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She loved to sing hymns and share in daily Bible study with her mom and sisters. Her heart was most blessed by her devoted husband of 28 years and loving daughter Brenna.
Sandra will be dearly missed by her husband, Tim Susee, daughter, Brenna (Matt) Salvey, mother and step father, Mary & David Millican, brothers Bud (Maria) Putman and Tracy (Courtney) Berkey, sisters, Sherri (Phill) Ellsworth and Kristen (Brandon) Matthews. Along with numerous family members, nieces and nephews. Sandra will be welcomed home by parents, Eugene Putman, Step father Larry Berkey, father in law Marvin Susee and sister Teresa Berkey.
Funeral service is scheduled for 3:00pm at the St. James Catholic Church in Molalla, Oregon Friday, August 14th.
4:00pm Graveside service with reception immediately following at the church.
