Roy Elbert Allen of Woodburn, Oregon died June 12, 2004. He was 80 years old. Roy was born August 23, 1923 in Malvern, Arkansas to William and Verda Allen. He married Luada on Nov. 18, 1941 in Malvern and then served briefly in the U.S. Army, being honorable discharged in 1943. He moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1944 and on to Medford, Oregon in 1955. He worked as an equipment operator for the City of Medford. In 1995 he moved to Woodburn where he was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Roy is survived by his daughter Patricia Pangburn of Enterprise, Oregon, his son William Allen of Stanwood, Washington, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
