Roger Alan West, 70, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Woodburn, OR. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Harrison West and Betty Mae West (Cooley), and his brother, James Ronald West. He is survived by his sister, Carol Aigner-Bacon (John) of Deer Isle, ME; his three children, Amy Sheelar (Joseph) of Hollywood, MD, Scott West of Beaverton, OR, and Michelle West of Los Angeles, CA; and many nieces and nephews. He was previously wed to Elizabeth Marsh (Pace), Eileen Weber (O'Keefe), and Sherri West (Reinhard). Born March 12, 1952 in Camden, NJ, Roger also lived in Minnesota before settling in Oregon, where he served as Mayor of Gervais, OR (2005-2006). He explored many other occupations, including sales, real estate, and bowling alley owner/operator. Roger loved the Minnesota Vikings, baseball, and traveling in his motorhome.
