Robert Michael Galvin died at the age of 91 on Feb. 25, 2016 at a local hospital.
Robert was born Mar. 2, 1924 at La Grande, OR to Joseph M. and Anna (Dickson)Galvin.
After graduation he enlisted with the Army serving in WWII from 1943-1946. He married Martha Hazel Saladin Aug. 12, 1950 in Pomeroy, WA. Robert was a member of St Luke Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed reading in his spare time.
Robert is survived by his niece Roxanne Galvin and nephews Douglas and Russell Galvin.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; John, Joseph and James.
Funeral Mass will be held Thurs. Mar. 3, 2016- 10:30 AM at St Luke Catholic Church- Woodburn. Burial at Willamette National Cemetery- Portland.
