Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, Phyllis Carlene Morgan 81, passed away November 5, 2015 in Woodburn, OR. Following a full life of continuous learning and service. Born March 8, 1934 to Carl Cecil Peterson and Mary Helen Parsons in Concordia, Kansas, moved to El Paso, Texas at age 8. Crockett grade school, Austin High School, Texas Western College BS in Education and Master of Science for Teachers from Illinois Institute of Technology 1972.
She trusted God and devoted her time and energies to teaching, church, family and friends.
Occupation: Irvin High School Sociology teacher, Rusk Elementary School Assistant Principal, and retired as a West Area Consultant for the El Paso Independent School district.

Sister: Pat Clark of El Paso, Texas.
Children: Donn (Houghton Michigan), Richard (El Paso, Texas) and Dwight de Yampert (Smyrna, Tennessee) and Debbie Aljets (Woodburn, Oregon).
Grandchildren: Byron (Houghton, MI), Tommy de Yampert (NY) and Brittany Willis (Eugene, Oregon).
