Preceded in death by her parents Edward Francis Enyeart and Caroline Ann (Els) Enyeart.
Survived by her brother Aldine (Dean) Shurl Enyeart, husband Walter Benjamin Nichols, three children Brenda (Doug) Hess, Richard Nichols, Rebecca Nichols, five grandchildren, Bethanie (Ryan) Marchbanks, Nicholas Hess, Noah Hess, Sarah Hess and Alexander Nichols and four great-grandchildren, Lincoln Marchbanks, Amelia Marchbanks, Nathaniel Marchbanks and Leaha Hess.
Born in Corvallis, Oregon, Phillis Joy Enyeart, she graduated from Toppenish High School in Washington and graduated as an RN from Samaritan Hospital in Nampa, Idaho. She met her husband at Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Yakima, Washington and the couple married November 8, 1957. She worked as a nurse in Idaho, Washington and retired from Salem Hospital, Salem, Oregon in 1996. They raised their family in Woodburn, Oregon. She was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was extremely involved in the Donald Church of the Nazarene and the Woodburn Church of the Nazarene volunteering as a Choir Member, Sunday School Teacher, Church Treasurer, Missionary President and Missionary Treasurer. She was a charter member of the Woodburn Fellowship Church of the Nazarene. She volunteered with the Marion County Health Department as a nurse. She was an avid reader who also volunteered with a local literacy group for adults and the SMART reading program in the elementary schools in Woodburn. She was an amazing wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Woodburn Fellowship Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 2:00pm.
