Patricia Lynn Will, age 76, passed away peacefully in her home on April 29, 2017.
Patricia was born on January 19, 1941 in Powell, Wyoming to Ernest and Vivian Martin. She grew up on a cattle ranch in Wyoming along with her 3 sisters and 1 brother until the age of 14 when her parents moved the family to Oregon. She graduated from Woodburn High School as a May Day Princess and Captain of the Cheerleading Squad. Although, a ranch girl at heart, she loved the Pacific Northwest, where she remained her entire adult life.
She was a gifted seamstress and quilter and had many passions in her life, including reading and cooking. Books and dinners were always on her mind. Her life was a living example of sharing her love through food and story telling. She also loved animals and throughout her life she nurtured many horses and dogs and was rarely without a purring cat on her lap!
Patricia is survived by her four children David Hackett, Lynn Hackett, Chris Will, and Kathie Collins, 6 grandchildren and her sister, Kathy Hall.
A mass will be held in her honor on May 19, 2017 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 417 Harrison St, Woodburn, OR 97071 at 4pm. Memorial donations may be made to www.QuiltsfromCaringHands .
