Obituary

Patricia Lynn Picchi, age 63, of Woodburn, Oregon died Saturday, July 23rd, 2016 at 11:20am at Legacy Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

Beloved daughter Patty, as she liked to be called, entered this world February 12, 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a loving daughter to James and Alma Plants and to Debra Plants as the years went on.

Patty fought a long and courageous battle against IgA-Kappa multiple myeloma cancer. A fight she would have continued to fight had her body allowed it.

She is survived by her husband Roy Picchi. Patty and Roy shared an amazing love during their 22 years together. Spending quality time to them meant listening to jazz, holding each other, family, and watching sunsets. Together they loved spending quality time with family along the Oregon coast as Patty loved the beach.

Patty is also survived by former husband Steve Prater. Together they had four children; Jim Prater, Carrie Fincher, Andrew Prater, and Jenny Roche. Her siblings; Vivian Plants, James Plants, Susan Sampson, and Cindy Teu. They and their spouses will miss her dearly.
Additionally Patty is survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren with two on the way.

Patty regarded each member of her family as a blessing. Her love for them all was immense.
