Patricia Cage-Davis passed away on May 1, 2013 after a 5 year battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born on 8/11/1923. She was a self-made woman who had a very poor and neglectful childhood growing up in St Louis Missouri, her birthplace. She married Charles Kush and they had a wonderful son David. During that time she ran a succesful ice cream shop named the ""Big Top"" located on Division St. in Portland. The marriage did not last and she re-married in 1957 to Richard Cage. They had a wonderful son Bob. They were married for 33 great years...enjoying the Oregon coast as well as Palm Dessert CA. During the 60's and 70's Patricia was an interior decorator and also got involved in watercolor painting. She was an accomplished artist, selling many of her paintings at art shows to benefit the Boys and Girls Aid Society. Dick Cage passed away in 1990. Patricia then found love again with Richard Davis and they had a beautiful marriage for 4 years until his passing in 1999. Shortly after, Patricia started an endowment for the Russell St. Dental Clinic which continues to this day. This was her ""paying forward"" as she had received free teeth cleaning and a toothbrush from a dentist in St. Louis who took pity on her when she was a street child of 10 years old. Until then, she had never owned a toothbrush!Patricia was all about helping people...even after her death. She donated her brain and tissues to OHSU for research. The family would like any rememberances and donations to go to the Patricia Cage Davis Endowment Fund,% Dr. J.R. Anderson, Russell Street Dental Clinic, 214 N. Russell Street, Portland, Oregon 97227
