Opal Ruby O'Connor of Molalla, Oregon died June 30, 2004. She was 89 years old. Opal was born February 13, 1915 in Lowell, Oregon to ""Chill"" A. and Laura Walsh. In April of 1933 she married Ben O'Connor in Eugene, Oregon. They owned and operated a grocery store in Toledo, Oregon before moving to Molalla in 1952. She was an excellent homemaker, enjoying sewing, canning, gardening, and crochetting. She was Ben's soul mate.Opal is survived by her husband Ben, a son Gordon O'Connor of China, 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
