Norma was born in Morton, Minnesota to the late Olaf & Hilma Lofquist.
She was the second oldest of six girls. Graduating from Upsala High School,
she took a teaching job in Montana shortly there after.
Returning to Minnesota, she married Gordon Bolstrom in 1948.
From that union, they had three children.Norma was a homemaker and bookkeeper
for Gordy's tile business and enjoyed fishing, boating and cooking.
In 1968 they headed west relocating in Coeurd 'Alene, ID, then to Juneau, Alaska.
She was a finance officer for Alaska Public Employees Union.
The summer of 1982 they arrived in Hubbard, OR.
During that time she worked at the Smart Shop in Woodburn until it closed.
In 2009 Norma moved to the Woodburn area. Over the years Norma has made many friends and kept in touch with the majority of them.
Her love for her sisters, nieces, nephews, their families, kids, grandkids and great great grandkids
brought her much pride and joy.
She was a member of Macksburg Lutheran Church and has loved them as extended family.
Collecting cookbooks and feeding us all has been a passion for Norma.
Sports were a close second, cheering for the Twins and Vikings and now a loyal fan
of the Oregon Ducks, Blazers and Mariners.

Norma is survived by her two sisters; Carole of Louisana and Jan (Dale) of Oregon City, daughter Teri Bell of Ohio,son Randy(Diane) of Arizona, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gordy, son Rick, sisters; Joany, Marlee
Verna and son-in-law Ron.

She will be forever loved and deeply missed.
