Natividad Tristan Gonzalez, the Patriarch of the Gonzalez family was born in Armadillo de los Infante in the Mexican State of San Louis Potosi on Dec 25, 1931 and left this earth to be with the Lord Almighty on Nov 8, 2019. Preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Elena Gonzalez, his parents Baltazar and Victoria Gonzalez, sister Ernesta, and brothers Bernardino, Honorio, Francisco, and Leonard. He is survived by his children, Maria Leticia (Daniel), Rudy (Ginny), Hector, and Guadalupe, 12 grandchildren, Erica, Chris (Meghan), Irene, Jennifer (Patrick), Vanessa, Emelia, Julian, Mya, Zoey, and Jordyn, and 7 great grandchildren, Danyela, Jenesah, Esabela, Evaney, Leticia, Rachel, and Mason. Natividad or Nato as he was known to his friends, came from a very simple life and maintained that throughout his 87 years. He came here as a migrant and because he loved this country, he became a U.S. Citizen in 1999. He retired from Treco Nursery after more than 37 years of dedicated service. Nato was honored as one of 11 descendants of the Migrant Labor Pioneers in the Willamette Valley. He was a quiet man, but when he spoke, he never said anything negative about anyone. He was loved and admired by all who knew him. Nato enjoyed hunting with his brothers, fishing with his grandchildren, and taking care of his apple trees. Later in life, he enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend.
