Nancy Lee Koffler passed away peacefully in her home on October 7, 2023 at the age of 72. She was born March 2, 1951 in Salem, OR and lived the majority of her life in Woodburn, OR.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Koffler; children Jeromy (Denise) Koffler, Molly (Moses) Eagles, Casey (Efrain) Robles, and Kelly (Erika) Koffler; 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers Leland Foster and Gary Foster, and 9 nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members who loved her.
Nancy graduated from Woodburn High School in 1969 and was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Parish. She worked for 29 years at the Woodburn School District for the Chapter 1 Federal Grant Program and later as a secretary for the central office at the high school. She served as the director of the high school's May Day program, and for many years she directed a safety camp for children that was sponsored by the Kiwanis.
Nancy was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to attend and support all of the activities and sports teams of her children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was active in the Woodburn community and enjoyed gathering with friends to play Bunco. She enjoyed crafting and making homemade greeting cards. She sewed, knitted, and crocheted. In her spare time, she would read novels on her kindle or watch the Hallmark movie channel with a cozy blanket.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Simon Cornwall Colonial Chapel, 390 N 2nd St., Woodburn, OR, 97071. A reception will be held following the service at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, 33814 S. Meridian Rd, Woodburn, OR, 97071. All are welcome.
