Mildred Lenore Schoor was born in Hubbard Oregon on Aug. 11, 1924. She passed away peacefully on July 1, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
Daughter of Dr. Edwin Schoor and Lenore Schoor, she spent her entire life living in the Schoor home and office in Hubbard. She was a graduate of Hubbard High School and worked many years for the State of Oregon in Salem. The last two years were spent living in an assisted living facility in Wilsonville.
Mildred enjoyed traveling, frequent trips to the family cabin in Camp Sherman, visiting with friends and collecting. She was a sports enthusiast and later in life, drives in the countryside and shopping trips. She always asked any visitor "what do you know?".
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dr. Edward Schoor and Lenore Schoor, and her daughter in law, Doris Schoor. She is survived by her brother, Ed Schoor, nephew, Wayne and neice, Janet.
There will be a private family burial service at the Hubbard Cemetery on July 14 at 10:00am, and a memorial service will be held on Thurs. July 21, at 2:00pm at Zion Mennonite Church, 6124 Whiskey Hill Rd., Hubbard, Oregon, 97032.
