Mildred Anne Heisler McNulty died at the age of 84 on Mar. 27, 2014 at Silverton Hospital.Mildred was born Jan. 21, 1930 at Gervais, OR to Claude and Mary (Sittel) Heisler.Mildred was a proud native Oregonian and comes from a family of pioneers(Heisler) that settled in Oregon in the 1850's as part of the Oregon Trail. Mildred graduated from Gervais High School and University of Portland. After graduatingshe presumed a teaching career, working for the public school disrict of Woodburn and Canby.Mildred later substituted for Willamette Valley ESD.She married Donald McNulty in Woodburn, OR at St. Luke Catholic Church.Mildred is survived by her children; Dr. Kristy McNulty of Woodburn, Jack McNulty of Woodburn and Dean McNulty of Salem. Also a sister Violet Schaeffer of California , 8 grandchildren , 2 great grandchildren and her German Shepherd Braunie.She was preceded in death by her husband Donald and daughter Susan .Rosary will be held Sun. March 30, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.Funeral Mass will be held Mon.
