Mary Bartos Seely
She was born July 9, 1913 in Missouri and died October 30, 2019 in Gresham, Oregon.
Mom was born in Bolivar, Missouri to immigrant parents from Bohemia. She had an older sister and four brothers that all preceded her in death. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Montana. About four years later, her mother died. Later her dad, John, married Aloise Hybner from Bohemia and the family moved to Woodburn. There mother started and finished school, married and later moved to a farm south of Woodburn, where they primarily raised berries.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Delbert Seely and son Marly Seely. She is survived by her daughter Delene Seely Kempton, 2 granddaughters, Beth Landon and Anne Debski, and four great grandchildren, Larry, Deidre, Silas and Marisa.
She was known at the facility in Gresham and Mt. Hood Medical Center as feisty.
Services will be held Friday November 8th at 11:00 am, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Woodburn.
