Obituary

Marvin K. Boylan was born September 1, 1918 in Republic, Kansas toClarence and Mae Boylan. He had two brothers; Delmar and Otto Boylan (both preceded him in death).He went to grade school in Boulder, Colorado, and Harper, Oregon. Hegraduated from McMinnville High School and went two years to LinfieldCollege.He married Merry Jane Isbell in April, 1941. They had three daughters;Katheryn, Judith and Patricia(deceased May 1974). His wife of 53 years preceded him in death in October, 1994.He married Vonitta Gurney in December, 1995.He was a minister, carpenter and postal employee. After his retirementfrom the postal service in 1980, he continued to use his carpentry and building skills for various missions projects in the Western States. He was a member of the Woodburn Foursquare Church for over 30 years.He is survived by his wife Vonitta Gurney Boylan, his two daughters; Katheryn Pagh and Judith DeVilliers, son-in-law Thomas Pagh, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to theDidasko Orphanage in Honoduras. Send donations to the Woodburn Foursquare Church.Memorial service will be held Thursday- August 9, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Woodburn Foursquare Church 1175 E. Lincoln Woodburn, Oregon 97071.Private Graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City, Oregon.Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn
