Margaret Ann Richards Lindell passed away on July 3, 2026. She was born on October 6, 1943, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Gordon Richards, Sr. and Sylvia Richards. She was united in marriage to P. Griffith (Griff) Lindell, Sr., August 4, 1968, in Shawnee, OK. They have been married for fifty-seven loving and joyful years.
Margaret Ann received her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of the Tri Delta sorority. She taught school in California before retiring to be “grandmama” in Oregon. She enjoyed Bible studies, singing in church choirs, reading books with her two book clubs, and cheering “Boomer Sooner!” for the Oklahoma Sooners sports teams. She was a member of the P.E.O. She loved to play games, work on puzzles, complete daily Sudoku, travel, and always was "making a memory" with her precious grandchildren.

She leaves behind her husband Griff and their three children Paul (Lucia) Lindell, Jr.; Elizabeth Ann (Glen) McCord; and Richard (Corinn) Lindell, and four grandchildren: Ryan, Emme, Luca and Owen. She also leaves her brother Gordon Richards, Jr., sister-in-law Kim Ly (Paul) Richards, and a very special family scattered near and far.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Gordon Smith Richards and Sylvia Hanson Richards; her sister-in-law Mary Jane (Jordan) Richards; and her brother, Samuel Paul Richards.
