Maree Lutz Erickson of Woodburn, Oregon died July 12, 2004 at the age of 97. Maree was raised with 3 sisters, Violet, Pearl and Cecile and 3 brothers, Robert, Richard and LeRoy. On September 6, 1928 she married John A. Erickson in Vancouver, WA. They made their home in Woodburn where they farmed, primarily cane berries. John preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1980. She continued to manage the farm until the age of 89, retiring in 1996. She loved flower gardening, dancing and farming. She loved her animals and is survived by her beloved bull dogs, Bruno and Billie. She enjoyed going on drives with her caregivers and was a joy to all who knew her. She had many neighbors and friends who visited her on a regular basis who enjoyed her loving personality. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family who she loved very much.
