Lyle Ray Edmonds went to be with his heavenly Father on February 17, 2022 at the age of 88.



Lyle was born November 26, 1933 in St. Francis, KS to Raymond Willard Edmonds and Eva Lucille Cooper. He had five siblings, Alice Polly, Neil Edmonds, Ruby Silver, Marie Nichols and Phyllis Black. Lyle married the girl next door, his sweetheart, Carol Ann Rebecca Heisinger on November 11, 1951. Shortly after, Lyle joined the Navy and their adventures began.



His service in the military brought them to Honolulu Hawaii where his sons Dennis Ray Edmonds (Laurie) and Jimmie Leroy Edmonds (Elissa) were born. Son Richard Lyle Edmonds (Mary) was born in Oakland, CA and daughter Valerie Arlene Wilson (Dewayne) was born in Millington, TN. They made their final home in Woodburn, OR. Lyle worked for Johnson Controls in Canby, OR and retired in 1995. Family was an important part of Lyle's life. He has 13 grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter born on February 13, 2022.



Lyle was predeceased by his parents Ray and Eva, wife Carol, son Dennis and his brother Neil. Lyle was laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery. Services were held at Hoodview Church of God in Woodburn OR.
