Lois Gertrude Wengenroth died at the age of 97 on Feb. 12, 2014Lois was born Mar. 22, 1916 at Woodburn, OR to Ralph and Ada (Hughes) Seely.She grew up in Woodburn, graduating from Woodburn High School and attended Mt Angel College receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree. Lois taughtat Union School for 30 years before retiring from the public school district.Lois married Gail Wengenroth June 9, 1940 at Woodburn, OR. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church .Lois enjoyed golfing, belonging to Women's Woodburn Golf Club , Eastern Star and PEO.Lois is survived by her son David Wengenroth of Salem,brother Lyman Seely of Wilsonville, sister Shirley Bond of Keizer , 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.Visitation Tues. Feb. 18, 2014 from 1-5 PM at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel.Funeral service Wed. 19, 2014 at 1:30 PM at First Presbyterian Church- Woodburn.Interment at Belle Passi Cemetery- Woodburn.Memorial contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church at Woodburn, O or Willamette Valley Hospice.Arrangements by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.
