L. Reed Christensen was 65 years old when he passed suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep on October 18th, 2022 at his home in Woodburn, Oregon.

Reed was loved by many and will forever hold a special place in all our hearts. Reeds first love was family and friends. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a hard worker and an all around caring person. Next came his passion for fishing. He could be found most weekends on the river chasing fish around the PNW. Reed also looked forward to his yearly camping trip with his close friends and family to Wickiup reservoir. Reed has worked in the construction industry most of his life; the last 20 years working for Pacific Crest Structures. He enjoyed his job and all the people he worked for and with.

Reed was born in Portland, Oregon on February 13th, 1957. He was raised in Gresham area then moved to Redland, OR. when he was 12 yrs. old. Reed graduated from Estacada High School in 1975. He married Margaret Wagner February 25th, 1984.

Reed is preceded in death by his 2 Dads, Robert Young (1965) and Jerry Christensen (2020).

He leaves behind his Mother Lois Christensen; Son Alec (Ashlie) and grandkids Madison & Mason; 5 brothers Jeff (Jamie), Terry (Michelle), Michael (Jamie), Kevin (Martina) & Randy (Melody); and many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

A celebration of life will be held for Reed in March.
