Leland F. (Lee) White went to his eternal home in Heaven at the age of 84 on May 26th, 2014 at the Silverton Hospital in Silverton, Oregon.Lee was born Nov. 6th, 1929 in Everett, WA to Emry and Arleva (Jackson) White.Lee served in the Army from 1948-1952 and was stationed in Germany. After returning from Germany, Lee started working for Bunker Hill as a Brick Mason until his retirement in 1983. He met the love of his life, Alma Mutch in September of 1952, and they married Aug. 8th, 1953 at the American Lutheran Church in Kellogg, ID were they were long time members. Lee and Alma lived and raised their family in Kellogg. Lee loved camping, fishing and vacationing with his family. Some of our favorite memories were times spent during the summer at their place up the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River. Coaching his sons Little League Baseball teams and serving as a Cub Scout Leader kept Lee busy and he thoroughly enjoyed it.After retiring, he enjoyed golfing and woodworking. Lee and Alma moved to Woodburn Oregon in 2000 and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church.Lee is survived by his wife of 60 years Alma of Woodburn, Oregon and their 3 children; Michael (Debbie) White of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Susan (Terry) Dunn of Meridian, Idaho and Scott (Nancy) White of Monmouth, Oregon and grandchildren Brady, Amanda, Byron, Heather, Andrew, Brianna and Cameron and 5 great grandchildren.
