Kenneth Clifford Jackson
July 18, 1932 – March 30, 2019
Kenneth Jackson passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019 with his family around him. He will be missed and always in our hearts!
Born in Coleraine Minnesota, Ken grew up on the Iron Range. He graduated from Keewatin High School in 1950. After high school, he moved west to the Bay Area. While there he enlisted in the US Navy, proudly serving from 1951 to 1959.
In 1958 Ken reconnected with, and married, his high school sweetheart Jean Ranger. In May they celebrated 60 years together. They raised 3 sons and spent many years enjoying their grandchildren. They loved traveling the country every summer in their motorhome and saw most of the USA. Ken loved fishing, camping and playing cribbage with family and friends.
Ken is survived by his wife Jean, sons Mark (Jill), Curtis (Linda), Mike and sister Phyllis Kolden, as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his brothers Daniel and Burt as well as sisters Carol and Adeline.
A Military Honors ceremony will be held on May 21st at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
