Kelly Serres, born April 3, 1984, passed away May 19, 2016 from sudden unexpected
organ failure.
Kelly, was the son of Patricia Serres, he was born in Silverton, raised in Mt Angel
Kelly leaves behind his mother Patricia Serres, Uncle Paul Serres, Aunts: Francie
O'Connor, Ruth Thompson, Mary Grant, Rebecca Kirsch and Susan Duncan. Numerous
cousins, friends, his God Parents and his girl friend Kathy. All of whom will mourn his
passing.
Kelly was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle person ever. Kelly enjoyed sudoko and
word puzzles. He had a memory beyond belief for movies, actors, songs, and never
forgot directions to any place he had ever been, and never forgot the name of any
person he ever met.
Kelly always enjoyed family gatherings, talking & visiting with everyone and especially
loving the wide variety of foods that are a part of such events.
Kelly was a resident at King of Hearts and worked with Shangri-La in the Leap program.
Both staff and residents will miss Kelly and his kind and gentle nature.
"Life is a tear and a smile" , a comment noting the title of a special book added by his
Aunt Francie.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM on Tuesday May 24th at 10:30, proceeded by Recitation
of the Rosary at 10:30 AM, Tuesday May 24th at St Mary's Catholic Church in Mt Angel
Private burial at St Luke's Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Cornwell Colonial Chapel
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to St Mary's Parish, Mt Angel
or the ICU unit of Salem Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of Kelly
