Julie Ann Adelman(Gass)
Julie Ann Adelman (Gass) of Keizer passed peacefully from health related issues on February 1, 2015. Julie was born in McMinnville, Oregon on April 10, 1962, the youngest of four children of Maury and Carol Gass and raised in Cloverdale. Julie attended Nestucca High School and went on to graduate from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing. In 1988 she married the love of her life Joe Adelman and they had two children, Joshua and Erik. Julie was a devoted mother and took great pride and joy in her family's activities. Julie worked for many years at the Tillamook Care Facility, Salem Hospital and Salem Clinic in the cancer and ob-gyn units and then full time caring for her family and her own health. Julie loved to bake and made the most delicious snicker doodle cookies. She particularly enjoyed being with her many friends, Facebooking, and texting. Julie was preceded in death by her mother Carol. She is survived by her husband, Joe, sons Joshua and Erik, aunt Jean, father Maury, brothers Mike and Greg (Gloria), sister Teresa (Rick), many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close and dear friends. She will be missed by all.
A funeral mass will be at 10:30am on Friday, February 6th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gervais, Oregon. A rosary will be prayed prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Catholic Community Services for the Father Taaffe homes.
