Juan Rios Ruiz was born in Asherton, Texas to Joaquin and Mariana (Rios) RuizOn March 25, 1957 he married Barbarita Fraga. Shortly after getting married he was drafted and served in the US Army for two years.In 1966 they made Oregon their home, living in Hubbard since 1970.They raised seven children. Juan retired from the Portland Shipyards. He was always a devoted husband, dad and brother.Juan is survived by his wife, Barbarita, children; Juan Jr., Martin, Sylvia Melcher, Velma Blades and Rita Narry, brothers; Joaquin Ruiz Jr. and Richard Ruiz, sister; Maria Garza and 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildrenHe was preceded in death by two of his children; Leo and SelmaThis wonderful and loving, faithful husband and dad had a great sense of humor and quick witted that will be dearly missed and he will live in our hearts forever.
