Jose Lumbreras Ibarra (Pollo) of Woodburn, Oregon passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Jose was born on May 3, 1947 in Ballinger, Sonora, Texas. Jose was raised in Walla Walla, Washington. His family then moved to Oregon where he met his wife at a St. Paul dance in 1968.
Jose, at a young age, along with his family, worked in the agriculture fields through the mid Willamette Valley. Throughout the years he worked for Columbia Ladder, in Woodburn, 20 years for Woodburn Fertilizer and GEM Equipment until he retired.
Jose's hobby was his 1954 Yellow Chevy pickup in which he rebuilt and remodeled.
He is survived by his wife; Maria, of 49 years, daughters; Elena Martinez (Jose), Sylvia Montecucco (Brian), seven grandchildren; Brother; Juan, Sisters; Ester Croswell and Estela Moreno, niece; Jelana and nephews; Roman and Rico Mendez, whom Jose and Maria raised.
