Joe Alfred "Freddy" Martinez,

August 27, 1957 - February 27, 2026

Freddy was born in Woodburn, Oregon and passed away surrounded by his loved ones. 

Freddy was born and raised in Woodburn and was liked by many because of his amicable personality. He loved to play his guitar and ride his bike. 

He is survived by his daughters Celina Otten and Lindsey Martinez of Salem, Crystal Arellano of California, His sons Bobby Martinez of Lincoln City, Rico and Casey Martinez of Woodburn and Anthony Redden sisters, Marcie Sweat of Ohio, Diana, Cindy, Patricia and Lorena Martinez of Salem and Grace Arellano of California. His mother Cruz Robles of Woodburn and 14 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by his brother Bobby Martinez and Mario Martinez and his father Daniel Martinez. 

Services will be held at Simon-Cornwell Funeral Home on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00pm-7:00pm in Woodburn, Oregon. A Graveside will follow at St. Lukes Cemetery, Woodburn, Oregon on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 with a start time of 11:00am.
