Joe passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 94. He lived a full, rich life with his wife of 69 years, Clara. Together they raised sons Randy(Maureen), Russ (Judy), and Jerry (Peggy).
In 1983, he retired from a long career as a State Park Manager. Joe and Clara traveled in their RV for several years, finally coming back to the valley. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, which includes 12 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Dec. 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church in Woodburn.
As a WWII veteran, Interment with full military honors will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3, at 10:00 AM at Willamette National Cemetery- Portland.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Serenity Hospice or the Alzheimer's Assoc.
