WOODBURN – Jane Catherine Susee 83, was born at home in St. Paul Oregon on October 24, 1935 to Charles and Josephine Brentano. Died December 8, 2018 surrounded by family in Woodburn Oregon. She was the 4th of 5 children.
Jane graduated from St. Paul High School in 1957. She married Marvin Susee at the St. Paul Catholic Church on May 4, 1957.She was a devoted wife and loving mother to 5 children. Mom and Dad enjoyed many camping and fishing trips with family and friends. With the highlight of driving and RV-ing their way to Alaska with friends before dad's passing.
She enjoyed her yard, gardening and playing bingo. These activities continued after her move to Country Meadows in Woodburn. During her years there she also learned, she had a knack for crafting and creating unique gifts and cards for family and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her spouse Marvin, a sister Ann, brother Edward, daughter-in law Sandra, and a great granddaughter Kaohinani. She is survived by her sister Mildred Weatherly and brother Harold Brentano. Her children Tina (Nick) Schneider, Teri (Leonard) Lopes, Tim Susee, Laura (Dennis) Hagenauer, Dave (Belinda) Susee, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with another due in May.
Funeral services will be held, Thursday December 20, 1018 at Sacred Heart Church in Gervais. A rosary beginning at 10:30 followed by the funeral at 11 with burial to follow. In addition, there will be viewing on December 19th from 1-4 pm at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel in Woodburn.
Memorial donations can be made to Sacred Heart Parish, Providence Benedictine Hospice, or The American Diabetes Association.
