James A. Equall, "Jae" June 21, 1957 - March 20, 2018
Jae was born on June 21, 1957 in Silverton, OR. As a child he lived in Woodburn, OR where he learned to work at the family's grocery store across the street from his childhood home. He graduated from Woodburn High School. Jae was a natural salesman. He loved talking to people, as was reflected in his job choices as a disc jockey, advertising salesman, restaurant owner, and car sales manager. Some of his favorite pastimes included hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Shirley Equall. He is survived by his children Carissa Smith of Aurora, Nathan Equall of Bend, and Amanda La Combe of Salem; five grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Landfair and Carol Brandis and brother Paul Equall.
Services will be held at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel on Friday, March 23 at 12:00 p.m. Crypt entombment at Belle Passi Memorial Mausoleum. Arrangements by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel.
