Irene Scott of Woodburn, Oregon passed away Monday the Eleventh of January at 5:42 pm. She was 87 years old or in her case, young. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, three sons and their wives, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild on the way. She will always be remembered by her friends and family for her love, compassion and her never ending smile. Irene made friends wherever she went. Whether it was with her "red hat" gang, her "walking club", or with her "poker" pals and the many people she golfed with. Her greatest passion, though was traveling. There aren't too many states she hasn't traipsed through. Australia and New Zealand are also places she has been to. Irene will not be forgotten. She is imbedded into the hearts and minds of so many people that she will live on forever. Her service is scheduled for February 21, 2016 at 1 pm at Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn. Private Interment at Willamette National Cemetery.
