Henriette Stewart Seely died at the age of 95 on July 23, 2012 at a local care facility.Henriette was born November 9, 1916 at Astoria, Oregon to Henry A. and Catherine M. (Stewart) Whitney. Henriette was the oldest of five children. She graduated from Mt. Angel Public School and Mt. Angel Academy in 1935. She married Harold Lamar Seely December 27, 1935, settling in Woodburn, Oregon, later moving on to Hubbard, Oregon She enjoyed sewing, quilting, needlework and 4-H. She was involved with Catholic Daughters of America. and Animal Rescue.Henriette is survived by her sons; Harold of Tonganoxie, Kansas and Michael of Portland, Oregon, daughters; Kathleen Nelson of Arizona and Margaret "Patty" Heckelof New York City, NY.15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.Preceded in death by her husband Harold January 28, 1992.Visitation Thursday- July 26, 2012 from 1:00- 5:00 PM at Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.Funeral Mass will be held Friday- July 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church at Woodburn.Concluding Graveside service at Rock Creek Cemetery at Canby.Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn.
