Helen ""Calena"" Walsh of Woodburn, Oregon died June 29, 2004. She was 95 years old. Helen was born February 11, 1909 in Sonora, Mexico to James and Theresa Manwaring. In June of 1959 she married John Walsh in Baldwin Park, California. She resided in Southern California most of her life before moved to Woodburn, Oregon in 1981. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and singing.Helen is survived by her son William A. Smith of Salem, Oregon, sisters Bonnie Guevarra of Henderson, Nevada, Kathryn Hooper of Apple Valley, California and Jerri Hammond of Covina, California, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
