Harold Joseph Waltner died at the age of 84 on October 31, 2012 at his residence.Harold was born March 14, 1928 at Monroe, Washington to Joseph and Anna (Peters) Waltner. Harold married Virgene Turk in 1949 at Richmond Beach, Washington. He attended Simpson Bible College for three years.Harold worked for Shorts Auto & Machine in Oregon City, OR and a door plant in North Portland . He pastored several churches in the NW. Harold provided Sunday morning church services at Canby Hope Village for 14 years and also was a volunteer chaplain at Silverton Hospital for the last Seventeen years. Harold is survived by his spouse Virgene of Hubbard,OR and children; Stephen Joseph Waltner of Molalla,OR, David Warren Waltner of WallaWalla,WA,Rebecca Jean Woolbright of Aloha,OR, Judith Gail Gaboury of Hubbard,OR,James Dale Waltner of Billingham, WA and Phillip Andrew Waltner of Dillon, MT.Two brothers; Edmond Waltner of La Cruces, New Mexico and Raymond Waltnerof Snohomish, WA. Twenty two grandchildren , three step grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.Preceded in death by sons; Jonathan in 1989 and Thomas Ray in 2000. Funeral service was held Saturday- November 3, 2012 at 10:00 AM at North Marion Community Church at Aurora, OR.Graveside service was followed at Aurora Community Cemetery.Memorial donations of your choice can be made to Foreign Missions or Legacy Hospice.Arrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn, OR
