Gordon Seely passed away quietly Saturday morning, July 20, 2013 at Country Meadows. He was born Sept 11, 1918 in the Woodburn area and lived in the Woodburn area all his life. He married Eva Marie Matthews in 1940 and they had two children, Deanna and Ronald. Eva Marie and Ronald both preceded Gordon in death. He belonged to the First Christian Church in Woodburn. He was a farmer most of his life and also drove school bus and was head of the Transportation Dept for the Woodburn School District for a period of time. Survivors include his daughter Deanna, sister, Marjorie Pierce, four granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren.Memorial Service will be at The First Christian Church in Woodburn on August 9th at 1:00 pm.
