Gloria Robles of Woodburn, OR died January 21, 2013 in Vancouver, WA at the age of 75. Mrs. Robles was born in McAllen, TX on July 27, 1937 to Juan & Mercedes (Qujias) Resendez. She attended school in Texas and remained there until 1973 when she moved to Woodburn, OR. She married Adolfo Rocha in 1952. Later she would marry Edwardo Robles in 1973, he died in 2008. Gloria worked in several different fields such as a C.N.A. and laborer in agriculture, but mostly she enjoyed her job as a homemaker since she loved her family so dearly. When she wasn't "working" she enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, dancing and singing. She also enjoyed animals, especially dogs and she was known as a very spiritual woman who loved the lord. She was a great friend to many and a giver to all. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her 11 children; Adolfo Rocha, Jr., Aidalu Trevino, Mary Lilus Rocha, Eugene Rocha, Gene Rocha, George Rocha, Jim Rocha, Rosemary Rocha, Dean Rocha, Christopher Rocha, Valentin Juan Rocha; 2 brothers; Raul & Ramon Resendez; 4 sisters, Irma Serna, Maria Zobedia Wilson, Rosa Martin, Oralia Shockley; 32 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A service was held Saturday; January 26, 2013 @ St. Luke Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Luke Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Woodburn Food bank in her memory.
