Gertrude Clara Sterling died at the age of 94 on June 17, 2012 at a local hospital.Gertrude was born June 23, 1917 at Dorchester, Wisconsin to Oscar and Lena (Leonhardt) Laack.She married Lester Sterling in 1936 at Chicago, Ilinois.Gertrude was a member of the First Presbyterian Church She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and playing cards.Gertrude is survived by her sons; Warren Sterling of Holden Beach, N.C.,Larry Sterling of Auburn, N.Y., Dale Sterling of Leavenworth, WA , and Mark Sterling of Woodburn, OR. One sister Irene Schoppe of Redmond, OR. Seven Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.Preceded in death by husband LesterPrivate Interment at Willamette National Cemetery- Portland, ORArrangements by Cornwell Colonial Chapel- Woodburn
