George Holland, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, died at the age of 87 on April 5, 2015.
George was born on June 5, 1927 to George Henry and Marion Kate (Weaver) Holland in a log house, on a ranch near Drummond, Montana. George attended school in Drummond, MT.in grades 1-9. During the
summer of 1941 they sold the ranch and moved to Missoula, MT where he attended Missoula High School in grades 10 and 11. The moved to Bismarck, ND where he completed grade 12. George attended Montana State College at Bozeman, MT and recieved a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. George served in the Navy from 1945-1946. George married Muriel Bernice Berg Jan. 13,1951 at Bismark, North Dakota. He worked for the North Dakota Highway Department, making preliminary route surveys for 2 years. He worked for Douglas Aircraft Corp. In Santa Monica, CA . Then worked for Bonneville Power Administration in Portland for 2 years. George worked for Boeing from 1954-1987, retiring in1987.


George is survived by his children Jeffrey Holland of Corvallis, Debbie Innes Auburn, WA,
brother James F. Holland of Minnesota and 2 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife Muriel , and 2 sisters.
