Genevieve Eunice Blackmore of Lincoln City and Portland, Oregon.Mrs. Blackmore was born March 9, 1920 in Minnesota.She graduated from High School in Crookston, MN, and the Swedish Hosptital School of Nursing in Minneapolis MN in 1942. She served in the US Navy Nurse Corp during World War ll.Genevieve married Dr. Weldon A. Blackmore in 1944 in San Diego. They made their home in Portland Oregon and retired in Lincoln City, OR. She was employed as a Unit Supervisor at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center for many years.Survivors include her two sons and daughters in law, Gary and Sandra Blackmore of Bonney Lake, WA, and Robert and Linda Blackmore of Lake Oswego, OR. Five grandchildren, Kristin, Kolene, Kevin, Justin, and Brandon, and two great granddaughters, Kyla and Gennah.Internment at Willamette National Cemetery, March 24, 2014.
